About Jessie

With 5 years of experience facilitating various Yoga classes and workshops, Jessie carefully weaves a variety of techniques tailored to the personal needs and constitutions of her students. Her offerings include Myofascial Release, Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra and the occasional Cacao ceremony. Yogis of all ages and levels of experience are welcome.  

Jessie’s soft voice and gentle presence leave her students feeling refreshed, grounded and at ease. Participants are taken on a guided tour of their inner experience where they are brought back to the fullness of the present moment through breath and intentional movement. Through Jessie’s guidance, students are gently encouraged to modify poses to find their own edge of flexibility, both in the mind and body. 

If you’re interested in group classes you can find Jessie at The Yoga Barn on Lake Rosalind. This beautiful eco-studio is located just outside of Hanover, Ontario. Her Gentle Yoga classes run every Tuesday at 10:30am.

Jessie also has a small home studio to offer Private or small group Yoga sessions. It is her wish to guide her private clients on a more personalized journey of Yoga movement. Providing a session of movement that suits their needs and modifications.

When Jessie is not teaching yoga, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two small boys. A lover of the outdoors, Jessie finds herself puttering in the garden,  backcountry camping in Algonquin Park, and enjoying the simple pleasures of being in good company.
