A New Dawn:

Realizing the Beauty in Our Ordinary Lives

The Experience

Most of us know how relaxed, held, and nourished we feel after an hour of restorative yoga.

Now, imagine settling into that feeling for 3 whole days!

What might happen when the mind has a chance to unplug and simply receive the beauty that surrounds you?

This retreat offers an opportunity to reconnect with what truly matters. Not through striving for a better life, but through learning to recognize the richness, beauty, and possibility that is already here.

The Retreat Flow

Mornings begin with gentle yoga led by Jessie and sound integration with Luna.

Afternoons are spacious and unhurried, offering workshops, forest walks, sauna sessions, naps, and time for lakeside reflection and journaling.

Evenings invite deeper connection through Yoga Nidra, sound integration, cacao ceremony, guided movement, and fireside gathering.

Relaxation + Intentional Transformation

A New Dawn Retreat offers both uninterrupted relaxation and a space for profound realizations to emerge.

Through two thoughtfully curated workshops, participants will explore the habits of mind that contribute to stress, dissatisfaction, and striving, while learning practical ways of cultivating greater appreciation, contentment, and ease with the realities of daily life.

Rather than offering quick fixes or temporary motivation, these teachings invite a gentle shift in perspective—one that can continue to influence daily life long after the retreat has ended.

Meet your Retreat Leaders

Wisdom Teacher & Guide: Luna

For the last decade, Luna has devoted herself to understanding the nature of the mind and the path toward mental and emotional freedom. From formal training in counselling and psychotherapy to more unconventional explorations in plant medicine, she ultimately came to find a firm foundation in Buddhist teachings and meditation practice.

Within this framework, Luna has gained insight into the causes of her own mental distress and has since experienced gradual yet undeniable  progress on the path to freedom. As she continues to deepen in wisdom, Luna delights in guiding others who intuitively sense that more joy, peace and ease is available to them.

Yoga Guide: Jessie

Jessie’s soft voice and gentle presence leave her students feeling refreshed, grounded and at ease. Participants are taken on a guided tour of their inner experience where they are brought back to the fullness of the present moment through breath and intentional movement. Through Jessie’s guidance, students are gently encouraged to modify poses to find their own edge of flexibility, both in the mind and body.

When Jessie is not teaching yoga, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two small boys. A lover of the outdoors, Jessie finds herself puttering in the garden,  backcountry camping in Algonquin Park, and enjoying the simple pleasures of being in good company.

Special Offer for First 5 Bookings

To say thank you for your early commitment, the first 5 bookings will receive a FREE 1 hour Private Session with Luna. You are free to select one of her services and get in touch when you're ready!

Jessie will guide you through thoughtfully held practices that invite presence, rest, and clarity without pressure arriving anywhere specific.

There is room to meet yourself where you are.

Practices unfold with care, shaped by the moment and the group's energy. You’ll find the classes (hatha, gentle flow, and restorative yoga) beautifully themed towards inward reflection and sequenced for deep rest and renewal. Meditative and breathwork practices provide the walkway to re-engage more deeply with life.

Beginners to intermediates equally find what they need here. Silence will be welcomed regularly within the practices.

Gentle Yoga with Jessie

Does striving for a better life prevent us from being fully present with what’s already here?

In today’s world, everyone wants more, which is another way of saying, I don’t have enough. While there is nothing wrong with dreaming of a better future for oneself, this often comes at the cost of denying or undervaluing what we already have. In this retreat, Luna will facilitate these questions for our group and will explore the delicate balance between wanting more and being content with things as they are.

These teachings aim to bring awareness to the unconscious mental habits that create stress in our lives, and how a subtle reorientation of our thinking can help bring forth our desires without exhaustion or costly sacrifice.

Discover how peace, joy, and ease are closer than you realize.

Spend your afternoons pondering these transformational questions with Luna, held in a container that supports deep rest and inner contemplation.
